Painting is my first artistic love. My parents sent me to semi-private art lessons in a neighborhood lady’s basement when I was in middle school and she introduced me to acrylics. I painted in high school, but then stopped for about 25 years through the whole college-career-family years. Now, with children grown and on their own, I picked it up again and am enjoying rediscovering my old love.
